Ana Pazmino
Ana Pazmino has over five years of experience as an Environmental Planner, where she specialized in waste reductions research and programs. She was a Team Lead for several waste composition studies to assist municipalities and the private sector to develop programs and policies to optimize the existing waste management system. Pazmino has experience in a variety of waste management projects across Canada including field waste sorts, waste diversion strategies for both the municipal and industrial sectors, and develop programs and policies to optimize the existing waste management system.
Pazmino has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in International Relations and a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Development from the University of Calgary. She is currently pursuing a Health, Safety and Environmental Certification from the University of Calgary. Pazmino was an Instructor at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) teaching Environmental Engineering. She also worked at the Recycle Council of Alberta as an Outreach Coordinator where she promoted waste reduction initiatives and policies.
